:) Hi all now ive been reading this site for quite some time now and all eveyone seems to go on about is these new wfp systems.
Now most of my work is Houses if i purchased one of these systems how much easier is it to clean and is it quicker also how do you transport them about as i have to go up entrys and stuff like that to my houses as you probably do yourselves.
Ive got a mate whos just brought an apartment by me and he has hes windows cleaned by a company who use nothing but wfp and i was watching them last friday but to be honest when they was finished there was water all down the brick work which look a mess and also the windows was stil wet, How do they work do you not need to dry the windows after, sorry for sounding thick only my dads been a window cleaner for 27 years and my grandad is still at window cleaner at 78 mindya i couldnt clean windows the way he does he still uses the shammy lol.

Anybodys help would be very grateful

Cheers All

Andy

HI Andy

The first clean using a wfp will probably take three times longer than traditional (that is if you want a spot free finish first clean), but after that, you can be up to twice as quick as traditional.

You do not need to dry the windows, providing you have rinsed well, the windows will dry themselves and leave a spot free finish.

Unfortunately, brick work will get wet, but this also dries, so this isn’t a major problem.

Transport would rather be an estate car, small or large van; depending on how big a system you wanted. Portable trolley systems can be purchased or you can make on yourself.

I do traditional and wfp and I believe wfp is better and you get better results, plus your clients are happier, because you clean the frames each time.

Hope this helps

Andrew

Twice as quick as trad? Nah, especially not on bottoms, i can blade two sliding patio doors in less than 30 secs. You can`t WFP them that quick. However on tops, you can reap the rewards, but never on bottoms, providing your fast with a blade. I just enjoy the safety aspect of WFP though, and yes the customers like the idea of frames cleaned too.

From personal experience, I can guarantee you that you won't regret it.  My blading has speeded up quite a bit since meeting up with Steve.  I didn't adopt everything he suggested but, even with the stuff that I did change, I have cut my times down.

N.B.  I am just referring to trad methods.  Steve didn't have WFP when I met up with him.  I've no doubt he's sifting through ways of cutting down his times with WFP too.
