RO PERFORMANCE

for anyone who really knows about the this sort of thing how does this sound
its a 300 gpd ro-man
tds in 420
tds out 017 (before di)
production rate 25 ltrs per hour
pure to waste ratio 2.25 to 1
no booster pump mains pressure only
system running at 50 psi

is that ok i ???
i am fairly happy but is a booster pump worth bothering with and what sort of difference should i see ...discuss

My 200gpd system with booster pump is about the same. TBH it's probably worth trying a booster on it,you should be able to get the pure flow rate up a bit.

I have the same set up as yourself and when I boost it from 50psi to 85/90psi then the pure water output doubles and the tds from my membranes drops from around 7 to 5. So it should be well worth it

i use a booster pump too on mine well worth it more than doubles the output, less waste and lower tds before resin
