[Sapphire Window Cleaning]

What is the best way to link IBC tanks together, I know there's a 2 inch tap on the bottom of the tank, can you buy a pipe or hose so I can link one IBC tap to another, if so where can you buy them from?

ive just brought this of ebay for joining 2 tanks together

they do them in differnt sizes
ive brought 2  1 in connetors and just going to use hose pipe

Matt... why not just link them up from the top using a waterbutt linking set... cost about £4

Similar down here mate, picking up jobs every other day. havent dropped flyers for the last month but I am getting my other half out dropping a few hundred each day next week whilst I'm out cleaning the windows.

  to connect two together ... all you need is to do is drill a hole in each ibc and once one is full it acts as an overflow into the next.

What do you use to make it water-tight?

The kit comes with a rubber seal either side and you tighten up a plastic nut on the inside.... i drilled the holes tight too and whacked a little bathroom seal round it (clear stuff) and its never leaked.

How do you get the water out of the second tank?  Unless you are drawing from the bottom of both tanks you would need two sub pumps.  I have two IBC's joined together via the bottom outlet taps, so in effect it is just one big tank, the pump draws from the bottom of one tank and the water flows through from the other to level out.

Also I would not use standard garden hose for the tanks to self level
