Generally driven by prats on the motorway.

Apparently they will do 122mph.

Most of them do....

it all depends on the weight you want to carry, i just got a brand new fiat scudo, made by peugout, it is cheap, reliable and not to big, perfect.

Looked at the mercedes, very expensive.

It depends if you get a new merc then you have 3 yrs warrenty, if second
hand then you wiil pay through the nose for parts. Mate of mine radiator on
a Vito went and had to fork out £80 for second hand one.

Great small/medium van, nearly got one myself, ended up getting the 230LWB hi-roof Ford connect.

I hear the payload is great in the Scudo too, my LWB is 900kg, but i believe the Scudo is over a ton!!

David,

Check the payload as they do 2 different payloads, i would recomend the 2.9 t
as this will give a payload of 1200 kg ie 650 litre tank system.
Long wheel base is best to accomodate poles in 6 foot sections

went too have a look at a vivaro, transit and a fiat ducato last week all newish ones and all SWB, i went for the ducato as it was a lot bigger in the back,i would advise you too have a look at ducato you want believe the difference in size of back compared to the others ,plus a good spec EW,EM,CD,etc.

Good luck

Yeah it does look nice but its a work horse, and the new ducato looks good, the older ones dont look so good like, but they have updated the new ones, new front etc.
