Free i.b.c tank
« on: August 24, 2005, 07:11:33 pm »
Hi all
I was just given a free tank from the local water board,
1000lt  about 4ft by 4ft in a cage and on a pellet. Has anyone ever conferted one of these to use in a wfp system.
It has a 1 1\2in     outlet at the bottom,  would anyone know how i could reduce this to connect a hose pipe on  like we all have on our tanks in the vans we use.  The cap that came with it has a removeable peice in the centre. Would anyone be able to give any advice on this  THANKS

Use a flat bit to drill the centre of the cap and fit a tap as pic,

Roy :)
