I'm getting 25' and have two 22'.

I am ordering ten spare lever and cams, and a couple of end caps.

Trust me get a couple. £1-90 each- you need a couple on the van because you will snag and break them.

Im on my 2nd, best pole out there.

When new, say first month or so, i find im forever rinsing the pole through to get the carbon dust out as the sections jam together, but when "worn" in not a problem.

Im due for a new one soon     ;)

I use a slx 30 everyday, one pole does it all,

Clamps are easy to use and one hand tighten

down side is black hands, but can use gloves

Totally agree with what Mick Hay says about the closing of the pole, get past that and the pole is perfect  ;D

use them chuck away latex gloves for a few hours and your hands sweat, they brings out all the ground in carbon and dirt, does not get rid of the calisus on each hand though

You need rubberised gloves. Cotton based. I just bought ten pairs of Sperian Work Easy gloves for about £17
or Polyco Matrix P Grip 403

Always got two or three pairs on the go, wash them out now and again, last for weeks.

Like the Durex featherlight of gloves - hardly know your wearing them  ;)

I got about 6 pairs off my dad when I visited him last time he uses them to polish his bikes and does not like getting his hands dirty or finger prints on his bikes  ;D
