Hello, i usually post over in the window section but thought id pop in to ask the pro's a quick question. We have just had polished porcelin tiles layed in out house, they were sealed by myself as well, was just wondering what the best way is to get these tiles cleaned up and polished looking?

What did you seal them with? Did you remove the transit wax before applying the sealer.

there was no transit wax on them, i did clean them though with heavy duty cleaner and then sealed as per instrunctions on the Sealer which was QEP impregnator which is what was recommended on the tile boxes s they were from B&Q

It sounds like you may have applied to much sealer. QEP impregnator is not one i would use, and with polished porcelain tiles they are very dense so they do not absorb much sealer. when you apply sealer you only do a small area at a time, the thing you can do now is apply more sealer to the floor this will soften the sealer already on the tiles leave it for a couple of minutes then wipe it off, then buff the tiles up. If this doesn't work upload some pictures so i can see the tiles.
unfortunately B & Q tiles are very poor quality and a lot of proffesional tilers will not lay them.

To be honest I never put a lot down an wiped up any excess after a few minutes. I will try as you say an put some more over the top of it, what is best to use to buff it up with?
