Pricing a shop.
« on: May 19, 2010, 05:40:16 pm »

It's on a busy crossroad. I've been asked to quote for the job. I'm happy with £10 weekly as I do similar shops on the same road for that money, but how do I price if they want it bi-weekly or even monthly?

If your happy with 10 pound a week, quote 12 pound a week, 25 pound monthly and forty pound a month. Then you will have a bit of room for negotiation ;D

are all the other shops on that road on a weekly basis? If so , sell it on that basis to the new one and don't mention other timescales. If they don't want weekly they will tell you, soon enough.  Every 2 weeks - £15.00. once a month £20.00

There's 19 shops. 14 are weekly, the other 5 are bi-weekly. It's a round I bought last year.

Whatever terms they come on at will be ok then, as you are there every week. Gives you more income in one hit :)
