insurance ?

hi there , just wondering what insurance i will need , will be doing house work , public liability i assume but anything else ?

Hi Ken,

Public liability up to 1 million would be adequate for you. If you are employing anyone, you will then need employer’s liability Insurance.

If w/c is going to be your only source of income, you should consider personal accident and sickness cover also.

Hi Sometimes if you are looking at commercial work they want up to 5M and to be honest its not that much more expensive.

plus it looks good when you go for comm work..

Which company do you use.  There was a huge difference with the company I got mine from.  It jumped from around £80 for 1 million to £300 for 5 million.

The company is Blackfriars, when I started up I was with another chap and they quoted £285 for the both of us.
