What is the best way to advertise ironing services from home, As im thinking about leaflets through peoples door. Would that get customers?

Yes leaflets will get you customers, however they are very expencive way of advertising, take alot of time if you are going to deliver them your self. I suggest local shops or post office. However if you do have money to spend and plenty of time on your hands then leaflets are a good option.

My other suggestion would be try your local domestic cleaning companies some may agree to share a leaflet with you, your will be on one side theirs on other, that will keep the cost down or you could even try asking them if they could subcontract some of the ironing to you, they may not do ironing right now and it could be a good add on for them to offer to their clients.
