GARDINERS new slx
« on: May 18, 2010, 07:06:41 pm »
as it says my new pole arrived today
i already have the last years 18 ft one and a super-max 45
this one is the 25 ft one already to go now but no windows to clean till Monday
im pressure washing the rest of this week !!

excellent pole though love the end stops makes such a difference
but just extending it and lowering it once my hands were black
this dosent bother me as i always ware gloves but may bother some of you
maybe because its new as in dust from manufacture
but another great pole from Gardiners
well done alex

Do the end stops mean the sections can't be removed?

if I get some time in the next few weeks and remember I will call and ask him, it works fine how it is, but I have no markers left and is only time before I over step the mark and hear a crack.

It's even more fun when you pull the pole right out and you've got 20 foot of pole being held at an angle with one hand!  ;D

So tell me about these end stops. Are they permanent or removable or what?
It's a game of three halves!

I thought that the new pole coating was supposed to eliminate the issue of carbon dust/black hands (at least for a while)...? And how are you supposed to flush the pole out to remove damaging grit picked and transferred inside the pole by the hose. I always wipe my pole hose as I coil it, but inevitably grit goes inside.

Be good to get as much feedback from users as possible re. the new SLX.

wizzard - are you using the 8mm hose  ???

that seems to be the only option for gardiners poles now..

Bad day with my new 22 slx first having to constantley adjust clamps, then fitting that holds angel adapter falls off , and to top it off pole trigger playing up .
