RO BAK is buggered!
Only had about 8000 litres of water go through since new?

Hopefully Steve had good results whilst speaking with them today. Did they manage to sort things out, and let you know whats what. Good talking with you on the phone today.

I will call them tomorrow and see what is what.

Hi, We ordered a new RO BAK, and whilst we were waiting for it, we just connected a hose where it should have been. Guess what :P The water going into the Blue colour change filter was at 017 ppm, and when we filled the tank hardly anything had turned brown. We got the new RO-BAK today, installed it and noticed that 1700 ppm  was coming out of it into the Blue Colour change filter ??? Thats why we have changed so many blue filters probably, about 1 every 3 or 4 fills. So now we have removed the RO - BAK altogether and re filled today, we will know for definate this next few days, maybe it is the RO - BAKS that are faulty?
We did phone Ionics, but they couldn't say what the problem could be.

hi
I ve got mate who has pro 6 .
He had a smilar problems
Ro bak is  damaging ro
I ve got pro 5 300 lt
I bought booster pump from ionic .
Filling time is 70 min.
Water goes in more then 6 bar pressure.
My tds reading is 0.02 or 0.03 ppm
What goes in what comes out.
You wont be needing blue resin at all
