DIY pole - £25

Could you adapt this pole to make a water fed pole?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/10m-telescopic-fibreglass-pole-wind-socks-flags-etc-/250631626268?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3a5acf1e1c
How much of it could be used? would it be strong enough for occasional use?

yea, but i dont know how wipy it would be with a brush on the end
the only problem might be is getting a connection to fit at the end where the brush goes

They seem like pretty much the same thing dont they. I might go with skyblue if they are recommended.
Does anyone have a picture of their pole made like this?

Richie, try Matt's DIY WFP forum (google for it, links aren't allowed here); those guys have used just about every conceivable type of pole as a WFP and it's pointless reinventing the wheel.
I use both the Harris and DIY fishing poles (you'd be to get upto those high jobs you're after with one of those at maybe a fraction of the cost with the fishing poles; have a look at Jeff Brimbles posts.)
Regards,
Tosh
