Following on from the problem i had with jet black residue comimg out the wand, i am looking into ways of avoiding this happening again, a possible cause is degredation of the hose lining from chemicals, and from my communication with John Bolton who described this phenomenon as "Black Death" he also said it may be from the heat exchanger and i should use some acid rinse, i dont think this is the cause as i often descale, so i have ordered some new hose from Restoremate at a very good price £50 cheaper than Ashbys
to eliminate this possible cause.
what i wanted to ask is.
What is wrong with using a prepray like powerburst or any other high alkaline prepray synthetic or Nemisis/M power and water rinse on wool rather than filling the tank with these chemicals.
surely the prespray does the chemical part of the clean and warm water under pressure blasts it off, or am i missing something.
