Help Starting out
« on: May 13, 2010, 12:58:39 am »
Hi guys first post here.
I have decided to take the plunge and start my own window cleaning round! I`m going to get a 5k loan to finace it and was wondering if you guys could give me some advice on how to spend it wisely.
I want to start with a wfp system and need to buy a van, uniform, leaflets ect. Any advice would be a great help for me.

in my opinion, save yer 5 grand Dave and just go out trad cleaning. you should be up and running within 1 day once youve got your ladder and buy a swivel squeegee ,WAGTAIL squeegee is a true winner .

its a very tough world at the moment , competetive for sure, use any charm you have when you tout for work

 best of luck

Hi Dave, I'm just starting. I'm going WFP, but not worrying about a van and will print my own leaflets. I was just going to use laddrs but as I walked around I saw more houses that I couldn't do than I could. I'm not bothering about uniforms and will buy a very cheap van. I am going to try and build a business but I don't believe in dying beautiful.
