Can anyone recommend a good chemical (not caustic soda based) for internals of ovens.
Thanks Ian

We aren't oven cleaners so we use a domestic cleaning kit called Oven Pride.  It's the one where you put the trays in a bag to clean.

Just put the product on, leave for a min of 4 hours (pref overnight) and then wash off.  Works really well for a general domestic clean of an oven and doesn't make the oven smell for weeks like Mr Muscle.

Its something we offer when we do spring cleans or when a client goes on holiday.

Cheers

Why not go to a commercial cleaning chemical supplier.

They will give you a brand far better than any domestic product thats is available.

You can get caustic or non caustic. If its caustic do not let it get anywhere near aluminium/stainless steel as it will corrode.

Vanquish is another good product. You will also need some tools. Chemicals on there own wont work.

Also a good idea is a heated dip tank so you can soak the rings and racks. There around anything from £400 - 1000's either run off gas or electric.
