the snow knackers you up as does the ice and cold.

I like getting wet, but some dont.

i get in a box around october then cover my self in hay then get up around march its ok because my dole is paid by direct debit.

no only joking though thats what some customers think. i work pretty much as normal but i miss the extras like gutter cleaning etc. but last winter was particularly bad with ice stopping work for around 4 weeks for me

The winter just past(if indeed it has passed) was my first winter and I had almost 4 weeks that I couldn't work. There were other days where I didn't go out till mid morning because the water was freezing on the windows. Best bit of advice I got when I started from a guy of about 30 yrs experiance was to get thermal tops and bottoms.

But let's not worry about that just now, I'm just wondering what factor sun cream to get for the summer months

u work the days u can,  but if its too bad there is nothing u can do,  but that doesnt matter when u r signing on lol

I think when it snows they should let us sign on from our laptops at home whilst sitting in the hot tub

put £2 away a week now and by xmas you will have some beer money to get you through the winter!

oh no, we have only just got over winter, and we are talking about the nex one already hehe

However, freezing water is the worst thing in my book, you soon forgive the rain after you xp freezing water

but we are still here tosh so it can be done but many will not have survived last winter

If you are trad like us, you can work down to minus 5 or 6 when you get the mixture right in your water. This winter we worked upstairs windows with a trad pole and had no complaints. It was a poor standard of cleaning, but we got away with it.

Always put money away for bad times. Make hay while the sun shines, if you know what I mean.

i will be using trad pole with hot water and squeegee off and visa versa on the end of the pole!
