Caravan Cleaning
« on: May 07, 2010, 06:15:44 pm »
Hi all i know of 3 or 4 caravan storage sites in my area and am considering offering caravan cleans i will need to fit a tank in my van so before i do this has anyone had or does caravan cleaning and does it pay.
I would imagine that a lot of people do not clean their caravan roofs so this could be a good service to offer.

Do you have a caravan ?

The point is as suffolkclean said to maintain if you dont keep your caravan roof clean it will get covered in moss and algie which eventually grows between the seals and could cause them to leak.
Damp caravans are not good

We have a caravan & cleaning the roof is a pain but has to be done, we have a long brush which attaches to the end of hose - ladders with a rubber kneeling mat against the side of the caravan so we don't dent it with the ladders & clean.

it had been standing like that at the side of a farmers field for 2 years i think, only took an hour to do, once i wet it it came off quite easily, i charged £30 for that one, i dont tend to change the pricing to reflet how dirty or big it is. i do £30 for touring and £40 for static caravans

Looks good scrubadub only thing I'd say is be careful with your ladders against the side of the caravan you don't want to dent it.

Ps I think you could of got more than £30 for that - you've transformed the outside of that caravan I'd say that would be worth at least £50  ;D
