ANY ADVICE ! my ro unit takes about 17 hours to fill a 210 litre garden butt, surely this cant be right?.
If so can i attach a pump of some sort to push it through faster or would this affect the purification ?

I think he means how many gallons per day does the R/O produce - what is it's rating? Mine is 200gpd and I get my 210 litre (46 gall) butt filled in seven hours at 80psi water pressure.

Bear in mind that if your unit is rated in US galls then that is about 15% less than imperial ones.

im  new to this and am going to sound relly thick, but i dont know how many gallons a day the ro unit produces i just leave it on day and night, oh my god ive got a lot to learn.

Did you get any paperwork with it? That might tell you the gpd it is rated at - if not ask your supplier.

I found some paper work and i think its a ro 200, thepsi is reading 50.

Your R/o:-

Maybe your Psi is a little low. Over to Ian Giles or other brain-boxes for other possibilities such as pumps to increase pressure or whether it could be something to do with your filters or membranes.

Email Ro man on this link he sells the booster pumps as 50psi is to low.

or run your ro at night when all are asleep - the water presure is higher then , as no one  is having a bath/washing up etc so you will get more water made .
