Had blackberrys now for about 4 years. Fantastic phones ! Phone, text, email, internet and so much more at your fingertips.

I have my work emails directed to my phone and can access my website on the job if I need to.

Not to mention the bb messenger.

Oh and the facebook & twitter applications if you run your business through them.

They do so much more. I looked at the iPhone and a few other touch screen phones (yes RIM do one too) and decided against as they are easily broken screen wise. I have a curve 8900 at the moment, but will be upgrading to a bold soon I think.

My wife and I were the only people we knew 4 years ago that owned a blackberry. At present I have around 50 people on my messenger list that I am able to contact instantly

Oh and I'm typing from my berry via wi-fi ;D

Sorry Wayne... I've had no problems in the 4 years I've been using them and have used 3 different models in that time. The only time I have had to replace them is through me being clumsy.

I use my iPhone and had it for about 20months now, I'd be lost without it. The screen is great, but never having had a Blackberry I don't know how they compair.

This may sound stupid, but when you say your emails are directed to your phone do you have to go online to receive them? and if so how much is the internet usage for this?

no it works the same as a text on my blackberry - you just assign your hotmail address and they just come through and you can reply the same as a text, its that easy.
