Hi
1154 kgs. Van mags don't list these models any longer. Remember as I used to sell them. The later model Mk2 (facelift) was also introduced in 2002 with the JTD/HDi engine. Model was Ducato 11 - payload 1145kgs.

I thought it depends on whether it is a swb, mwb or lwb.
Different back springs I think.

Hi Stuart
Yes you are right - that figure I quoted is for the SWB standard roof. Just looking at Parkers I see a couple of errors; eg. the payload is quoted as the same on both the standard and high roof models. But its a good guide.
Thanks.

Do it the safe way:

On the vehicle will be a plate giving the GVW (gross vehicle weight)  This is the total maximum amount the particular vehicle can weigh on the road, including everything - driver/passengers, fuel, load etc.

Fill your van up with all your gear, fill the fuel tank, take it to the nearest public weighbridge and have it weighed with you and your passengers sitting in it.  The difference between the recorded weight and the GVW is how much spare payload you've got.

You get a certificate so if you get stopped you can prove you're not over the limit.
