The bearings went on my last one - the bill including labour was £ 40 less than buying a new one !
Told them to dump it and got one delivered the next day. At £ 200 each it's probably worth buying a new one each year, use mine every day and I can't afford to be without it for a week while it's repaired.

I think the answer to your question is yes in most situations but more important to consider carpet construction eg loop pile twist pile etc may not be suitable in these scenarios always carry a brush on the van in case simples

Why not buy the parts from Sebo and do the repairs yourself, it's pretty basic stuff.
Usually the parts come the next day.

Agree with Simon. There's not that much that can go wrong with a duo, it's usually just the bearings that have gone.
Simple enough job to do yourself. If I remember correctly, you should only need a Phillips screwdriver to do them.

If there isn't enough time to do the job right, how do we find the time to go back and do it again when the customer is not happy ? Do it right the 1st Time.
