Starting up questions
« on: April 07, 2010, 10:46:23 pm »
Hi,

I am putting serious thought into starting a small operation on my own here in Hampshire, solely on a weekends only basis, due to the fact that I work full time in AC & Refrigeration.
I am seeking to apply myself in the WC trade as a way of diversifying my skill set and being able to earn a second income.

I have considered weekend work will be my only time available.
- Would this suite particular clientele? Would operating solely at weekends attract sufficient clients?

Equipement idea:
I have considered purchasing the Ionic Pro - 2  trailer system, hooked up to car via tow bar.
I think this product will give me the boost I need, with training of course.

Public Liability Insurence - Do I still need to take this out, no matter how small my operation is?

I hold CSCS, Health & Safety tickets and a Skills Card. Will there be any other mandatory memberships/cards I would need to hold?

Id appreciate any advice on this and ANY other suggestions.

Thank you

Nick
