Epoxy Floor - pricing and chemicals information required

Hi Guys,

Need some help with pricing what chemicals we require and how long it will take to do!!

- Factory hall floor which is 1000 sq ft it will be completely empty when we clean it.
- Epoxy floor
- The floor is very slippery as they put showergel/bath soaps etc. into small bottles
- Weekend Job

If its a epoxy screed then I'd look at a scrubber drier but if its a filling hall for shampoo then foam is going to be a major pain. You can buy anti foam for carpet cleaners ! I'd look at a rotary with a stiff brush as well then you can use the soap thats there, You may interest them in applying a product called slip stop as an add on, we used this in a soft drinks filling hall that had quarry tiles and epoxy screed andf it virtually eliminated slip accidents.

Hi BDCS - I have spent the morning looking at hiring a scrubber drier, yes I will definitely need to use de-foam, and I will certainly now suggest slip stop to them, I just need to price all this up.

How much would one charge per sqft

It depends, pricing is very individual.

if you have 1000 square feet and its going to be completely empty.

0.70p per dquare foot. But you may find someone will do it cheaper.
