Its cloud computing, so your data is on a server.

You can access it from any PC, Mac, mobile phone with a browser, anywhere in the world.

So if you were to lose your phone, you just get another, and log on with your password.

Hope that helps

You wont get into trouble if you answer questions about your product, because WE are asking YOU.

Do tell us about it.

Hi Dave

Thank you very much.

All I can say really is its cloud computing, so when you do your job you tick it off, and then it updates everything there and then, whether the job is done and paid, done not paid, done prepaid, etc.

So basically your round is on your mobile, you click on schedule, put in the round ie round 1, week 1, Mon.

It will then pull out everything for those dates, and all the addresses and streets for that day will appear on your device.

If its collections only, it will pull all that out aswell, and soon as you tick the box, as done, its an instant update, so say if you had somebody in the office, they can see that at say 9.31 that job was done and what person did it, (if you were more than 1 man)

Basically there is no paperwork, theres no upgrades (as we do that automatically) and no synchronisation.

Data is on servers, so should you lose, get your phone/pc stolen, you can log on anywhere in the world and see you data.

I hope this makes things a bit clearerf.

All I can say is to go to the site, watch the demo, and watch the videos on youtube, especially the one about cloud computing, that really explains it well.

Thank you for letting me respond

ok

I have been given user names and passwords if anyone would like to log on to the mobile side of the system so they can see what it looks like on their iphone, or any other touchscreen phone with a browser.  Its demo data, but you can play around with it to get a feel for it

If anyone interested just drop me a line

What kind of Blackberry is it, does it have a touch screen - no keypad?

Can you give me the model number and name?

Hi Franky

You maybe able to see the mobile side of Midas on your phone, but as its not touch screen its not really the ideal phone to use out in the field could be fiddly, if you want to see what it looks like, I can send you a password.  Or alternatively you could see what the mobile side looks like on your pc or mac

Hope that helps

Hi here are the log in details

http://www.midas-demo.acacia-technologies.co.uk/m_login.php

You need to put this address in your iphone or mobile device, touch screen with a browser, you can look on your PC or Mac also,

user

username

password

password

For starters if you select schedule which is in top left, next to all the options

What I would suggest to people, select wk 1, round 1, mon,

That will be bring up all the streets to be worked on, then you can click on the street, it will then bring up the house number, and you should be able to play about with that.

You can also do that with "coll", which is collections only

If anybody dosent understand anything, please get in touch, as with anything new, its a learning curve.

Also please bear in mind, we deal with Wheelie bin cleaners also, so if you see green bin, thats the reason.

Bury road would be a good one to click on, as that data is based on window cleaners.
