hi, this might be of help to any new starters, just a nice cheap wfp.
Just spent the last 10 mins making a nice and handy and very very very cheap wfp suitable for bungalows.
Had a brush head and crank spare and after a real awkward set of downstairs windows yesterday (it was like an asualt course, you know the ones) I decided to have a look down the local shops for a cheap pole to convert to a wfp.
A Wilkinsons broom handle cost just 67p and comes with a screw end that fits the crank. drilled 2 holes fed through some spare tubing and bobs your uncle, !!!!!

End result is a 4 ft wfp that looks the part and is  nice and handy to have in the back of the van.

ive just made this cost £15.00 old ally mop handle with bayersan wfp head £9.99 angle £1.60 and pipe
no more than £15.00
ideal for low level and shop fronts

Not a bad idea for bungalows. I used one once when it was just the brush and angle adaptor to get down the side of a narrow bit.

What bits did u need?
Just brush angle adaptop and hose?
Is that perfect for all downstairs windows and shops etc?

i am not into home made poles but on this occassion i have to take my hat of to will do one myself

Yeah will suits most shops too, strong enough for me 6mm pipe from an old omnipole.

Put a gardiners brush on the end and you'll probably cut 1/2 a kilo off in weight.

But yep................ crackin bit of ingenuity.

im gonna order lots of bits and make some cheap diy poles!still want a large carbon pole for commercial but for residential im gonna use diy poles.

I think I will have a crack at that, ideal for those narrow alleys round some bungalows wear a 6ft pole can be awkward.
I followed the instructions on a post of tosh's a while ago to make the 20ft carbon fishing pole.
Using a ron thompson 8 metre put over pole I made a pole that's ideal for shops and up to the 1st floor. £19 I think it was, and if you bought a second one you could swap the ends and make it reach the second floor.

Just bought a 16mtr fishing pole of ebay for £200. will adapt that to make a 45ft pole no prob.
