Flat surface cleaners, recomendations
« on: May 04, 2010, 08:50:55 am »
Hi could anyone advise me on the purchase of a flat surface cleaner, what can you recomend? seen a few but the difference in prices are a little confusing, they seem to range from £300 - £500, what are you using is it a case of you get good quality for the more expensive fsc or is there a fsc at a resanoble price that does a good job.

Just setting up to do pressure washing thanx.  :-\

I have the 20 " from jetwash http://www.jet-wash-direct.co.uk/pressurewashers/rotary-cleaners.html  (2nd from bottom), its in its 2nd season of work and does a decent job although one of the rotary bars did crack recently.

Haven't used mine for about 18 months but we have got a 18"Tech-clean one and it is great ;)

Wouldn't bother save your money but a turbo nozzle, unless the drives or patios get cleaned regulary I've found my 500mm FSC useless you have to go really slow and then go over it again with a turbo nozzle.

They will clean lightly soiled or nice smooth slabbed areas but not the in ground stuff.

If you Interested you can buy mine off me used  twice brand new

Ok what ever you do don't buy a steel one. They dent easily and if they dent in the wrong place they can obstruct the rotating bar.

Whirlaway are my favorite. But you will need a greese gun as well. Give it a squirt of greece after each use and you will never go wrong. I notice these seem to be the local authorities wepon of choice.

I bought mine from this www.trafalgarcleaningequipment.co.uk

Can't remeber the price though
