SIZE OF LEAFLET

hi all from past experiance what size leaflet works best i.e a4,a5,a6 any help would be great thanks

I did A4 for a while but had to fold them all anyway.
I prefer A5.
I didn't noticve any difference in response rates

a6 i use, just to get a leaflet in the house then i go back knocking a few days later seems to work

all they are is a  handwritten 2 liner


      1st line = WINDOW CLEANER       
    2ND Line=   phone number ........Jonny           


 under the word jonny i stick a star sticker .you can buy about 100 fancystickers for £1 in  cheap shops . i get 5 leaflets on a single sheet of beige paper and run them off on my ol mums printer .then using a paper punch i put a hole in one end,so it can be pinned up by a customer.  They look really amateurish ,but they work

by amateurish, do you think that it helps you get work as people wont think that you are expensive

they look like a kid has written them ,with a red marker pen .  the price of my work is a quid or so below the big trad firm in my town , nothing fancy is expected and i guess the leaflets fit in with that sort of service  on the council estates .
