I don’t know if it's just me or..... Well I found that every time I post something on this general cleaning forum, not many people willing to share their information, unlike on the carpet cleaning bit where people are always very friendly and helpful. I don’t mean everyone of course, there are some great people who have been very helpful, and most of the times are the same people. Has anybody else noticed this?

PS perhaps people are more competitive in cleaning and scared that their competitors will be using their advise to their disadvantage, but let’s face it guys although there are many of us on this forum and everyone has clients and jobs so it just shows that threes market for everyone.

I totally agree Dash, I posted recently about office cleaning & had some really great information & advice but it was from the same 3/4 people! There seems to be plenty of readers but not many offering advice, as you say stacks of different people to advise on carpet cleaning - thanks again to those who did help me on the office cleaning front quote has been sent but I'm not holding my breath

Yes I have to agree with you both.

I am mainly in the CC section but thats because its more active. Why I think there are more CC than Office Cleaning companies.

However most seem to be into Gutter cleaning, drive ways or something that requires the urge to use a JET WASH and sqirt some water. I dont think they have grown up.. Only kidding

You will also find I think alot of people on here are into EOT Cleaning rather than contract office cleaning.

I dont post replies on every topic as I dont know everything. I wish I did I would have alot more money than I do now.

As for being competitive yes its very competitive indeed. We nearly lost a contract over £25.00. Im not joking.

Also I find alot of people are located up North, I dont know anyone that is in the cleaning industry in the Maidstone area apart from me, that is unless they are lying on there profile.

Suffolk clean I would be intersted to know how much you quoted for the contract.

I think you will come to the opinion eventually that this is not really a forum , but a club for about a dozen people to pontificate about themselves.
They do not earn any money because they spend all day on here or moaning.

Dave, I work in the cleaning Industry near you - I have spent the last 2 days working in Kings hill and my carpet cleaner sqirts water just the same as my pressure washer and my drain jetter.
I consider myself friendly but I do admit some replys are tinged with an element of sarcasm if the stupidity of the post warrants it.
Why do the office cleaners look down on the pressure washers ?

I was only kidding.  I had a smiley face. Sorry if it came out wrongly. I do not in anyway look down a presure washers. Infact I at a later date want to move into that feild. But not yet.

Kings hill, I work on a site opposite kings hill on a regular contract. Next time you are there let me know I will pop over and say Hello if I am in the area.

I think its always nice to meet fellow cleaners from here. I have only met a couple in passing.
