Im really bored...............

I cant go out trad because of the ice on the paths and roads.

I cant use my new wfp system becasue its frozen and ive got to grit all paths that i use it on . Second im just introduccing my custoemrs to it so they will only see it as that machine that puts water everywhere and makes more ice.

Ive been phoning around businesses and trying to get the oppurtunity to quote for commercials but ive ran out of people to call.

Now im counting how many panels its taken to make the wooden floor in the livingroom, then the dining room then the hallway.....

Given up counting the snow flakes coming down because i cried and lost site of them

Fingers crossed this disappears soon before the straight jacket arrives

Same here , black ice everywhere... snow on all footpaths....

but got my second full day in  ;D ;D

where theres a will  ;)

Tosh

We did a full day yesterday, but some places just weren't safe; not really.  Lumpy frozen shiny snow on pavements and stuff; nothing extreme; but a bad slip (and I'm not talking about working from ladders) is enough to force you to take more time off work than just a few more days of bad weather.

So I've made a decision not to go back to work till its cleared up properly; probably by Friday or Monday (hopefully).

I'm getting a bit of a fanny, I know I know, but I'm not desperate... yet.

I'm getting a bit of a fanny.

Could you ask the doc for some lotion for it?

come on lads, roads are clear... you guys scared of a slip.... im wfp so its ok .... if its ladders fair enough, but if you can drive to a house ...

Thats not the problem. Got no grit to put on paths. Im converting customers to wfp and soon as they see water drippoing off their windows they will go nuts......

Planning on just doing bottoms for now trad until i can get out with wfp but im struggling get out of my street.

Im hoping to get out tomorrow no matter what just for the money. Ive said this everyday for about 3 days but thats it. Tomorrows the day

Il be using one tier of my ladder for windows over doors and them i cant quite reach off my tip toes but i know il get it done.

Bring on tomorrow

there is too much snow ad ice to worry about gritting, i have lots of salt, but i aint used any of it....

just go and wash the windows and stop worrying.... snow on the ground... temperatures above freezing during the day...(otherwise your gear would freeze)...

so its fine, it wont turn to ice until night time.... and if your customer asks what the hell are you doing...

tell them its unsafe to work with ladders in this weather.... then tell them not to worry , it di water and will dry clear...

in fact its the perfect time for you to get out there with your new , hi-tech safe way of window cleaning. ;D

d.ward

If i think its safe i will.

Il take a look in the morning
