Does anyone heat their static tank water before pumping it through to their van tank?
If so what type of heater do you use and what temp does it get water to?
Also how long does the water stay hot enough for?

Many years ago we used to carry HOT water in 25 litre drums and even in winter it was still lukewarm mid afternoon.

It will be very expensive for you to "heat" up a lot of water, you could in theory make your whole house "pure water" then just use your hot tap from your hot water boiler? But to be honest you would be better off with some of the hot water systems for sale out there............

some times i fill up from the hot water tap and that keeps good all day,  the idea u have shoudl work providing that the tank in van is insulated enough to keep the heat in,  which is easy enough

I had a three and a half kilowatt immersion heater wired into min, if it was on for 2 hours it would bring the temperature up to about 40 from under 10.  It would be noticeably warmer the hole day in the winter and stopped the hoses from freezing up.
