Simple,

Cold call! Lots of it.

Visit them in person.

Drop off your details. like a small brochure, cards

We have alot of commercial work in CC, Office Cleaning, Window cleaning and more. We find that offices dont need CC that much. So you have to look at the otherside of the commercial sectors like nursing homes, retail shops as they need it clean for customer presentation.

Try to offer maintenance rather than a one off.

Office tend to have then cleaned if they are movin g in or out or they may have there entrance cleaned, foyer area cleaned.

Others may have better advice.

Hows things gone up to now Chris? Doesnt seen 5 minutes since  we did NCCA.

Are you doing CC full time or do you have another source of income.Ive done a few jobs and loads of Family and friends for practise.
I could do with a few tips as I intend to start pushing CC in a big way when the Ice Age ceases.I wanted to start mass leafleting this new year but obviously the weather hasn't allowed that yet.

Hav eyou got an email address I can comtact you on.

Cheers

You will hear lots of variables about commercial carpet cleaning, but from my 30 years experience i would sum up the most important point if you are looking to do/get lots of it, and that is:_

GO IN CHEAP and do it FAST.

Get the phone numbers of local pubs, clubs, social clubs & offices.  Give them a call & try and find out who the general manager is or the person that would deal with carpet cleaning.  Send a letter and enclose 2 business cards. Give them a call 3 - 5 days later asking if they recieved your letter & explain what you can do for them.  We clean LOADS of office carpets on a regular basis and night clubs.

Being in the same age group as Dave Lee and with 30 yrs behind me he's spot on with his answer. :'(

I was going to post the same answer earlier but the truth was I hadn't the balls to say it. ;D

Got to go with dave lee and dave ingram.

Its always going to be hit and miss getting the work.

The downfall for the commercial work for some will be the late payment and the chasing of the payment too ::)
