FINALLY SORTED VAN OUT
« on: January 05, 2010, 05:40:01 pm »
after all the freezing weather I finally managed to get all the ice out of the system which was a nightmare and I'm sure it took less ice to sink the titanic.

thing is its a thermapure system and even on winter setting it was having none of it,  anyway after getting a load of ice out of the hoses and resing and fittings I decided to try it on summer setting and hey presto steaming hot water pumping out.

I have a mate and his system working with me tomorrow as he's up to date so may just gain some lost time back,   that is if its not thick with snow tomorrow.

thing is should I go out later and heat the water up in tank or just best leaving it and shut tank off and pump water out of hoses ?

Bring your hose indoors (if your allowed).

Can you work below freezing with your thermopure? Say -1 or -2? Because from memory, with an l5 it was okay as the pole was a bit warmer and didn't freeze up so you couldn't retract it.

apparently in Germany and Denmark they work with Ionic thermapure systems in temps of up to -6 so if the roads are passable then so will the big man  ;D ;D ;D ;D
