A Few Questions
« on: December 09, 2009, 05:08:59 pm »
Hello every body, this is my fist post here after quite a lot of reading through this forum, which i might add ive found very useful. Just a few questions I would like to clear up.

I have my own round, about 400 or so domestic customers, nice and compact in 3 local areas and i do have a couple of commercials, such as veternary surgerys etc, but i would like to expand this area a little more even though in understand its a lot different to domestic cleaning as you have to wait for your money and contracts can be lost.

So if im fully insured etc how would you go about acquiring new business cleaning. Would you send out letters asking to tender the work as such, if so where do you write to? The local branch or the head office?
I've also seen sites where you have to put in tenders for work for big contracts, although im way off these at the moment do any of you have any useful resources i could find out about doing this?

Secondly....Ive been looking at the fed of window cleaners and I am wondering how I can become a member and if there are any benefits?

I appreciate all your answers in advance.

Daz

Get an internet presence like a web page with high google ranking or/and a free listing on yell.com.
You could also call or write to local commercial cleaning companies to sub work off. The ones that clean the floors etc.
