Flow Rate

I am using the Flowmaster electronic pump controller and was wondering what number to set the flow rate at.
Also, would you set it higher for first cleans?
Thanks
Rob

I don't use a pump controller - but I have measured my flow rate (through 60 metres of 5 mm internal diameter hose) and it is 1.5 litres per minute. That seems enough to get good results.

I use my Flowmaster set on 20, it gives about a litre per min and I find that good enough for me, I do sometimes turn it up if I want a bit more water but I dont change it much.
