i would say that the 1652 payload is too low, 3 blokes at 450 kg, 850 kg for tank & water ( so we have 1300 kg so far ) only 352 for 2 hose reels full or hose, gas heater, gas bottle, poles brushs, spares and odd and sods, might add a gutter vac cleaner, some wet floor / men at work signs, PPE not forgetting FUEL

it would be too close for me

Hi Matt
I agree 100% - no good for a vehicle to be on the limit like that anyway - will increase wear & tear and overall running costs. Wouldn't like to be worried every time I went out whether today was the day I would get caught overweight.

3 blokes wieghing  total of 450kg would have to be sumo wrestlers, a more likely figure for 3 guys weighing around 12 stone each would be just under 250kg.

Slumpy may be doing well with his business but his current 650l 2 man hot system in 900kg payload van is well over his current payload limit.

In the same style (dispatch 900kg payload) van 600l takes me to the limit on a cold system single operator and I weigh just under 11 stone.

I think he is also planning to have the van kitted out with an office.

i was looking at a works van / dayvan / campervan idea a while back

the ideal base vehicle is a big minibus, it carrys the weight and has the space in the back

i never got around to it in the end
