Whats your IBC had in it?
« on: November 13, 2009, 09:48:30 pm »
My question is what have your ibc's had in them before you got them? Had any problems with the previous chemicals.

Come across a second hand IBC tank in steel cage which has contained washing up liquid & other non hazardous chemicals.

mine had some solvent ink in it, took a while to rinse out the residue, but for £30 i wasn't too worried.

1000Ltr, - 350Ltr in van. Was thinking 150Lpm would be fine but thinking of the 350lpm just because its better. Although may cause problems having to turn off so quick....

Also will have to pump up to maybe 40/50 foot.

My sub pump was from wickes, I think its 300lpm. As I am an impatient sod, I wish I had spent a bit more and got a higher output version, but it was only £30, and it's fine for now.

as long as it has not had oil in it your be ok. Jam is nice to start with but will put you off jam for life once you have it all cleaned out.

I got sub pump from Wickes also about £30 takes about 5 mins to fill 650l tank I should really time it,

Cheers guys, as looking at new, and although it would be good and easy, the price is a bg difference. I have overspent everywhere else, so am trying to save a little here.
