DI vessel supplier

Obviously he sells the vessels too.

Just looked at the site and noticed this.

NOTE: For optimum performance, Purolite recommend a minimum resin bed depth of 3 times the vessel diameter, the tower should also be filled with only 50% of its capacity with resin to allow for expansion

IMPORTANT - IF THE VESSEL IS FILLED WITH RESIN TO GREATER THAN 50% OF ITS TOTAL CAPACITY, THE RESIN, AS IT REACHES EXHAUSTION WILL DESTROY THE DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND BLOW OUT OF THE TOP, YOU WILL THEN NEED A REPLACEMENT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM. WE THEREFORE RECOMMEND WHEN FILLING YOUR OWN TOWER THAT YOU COMPLY WITH THE MAXIMUM RECOMMENDED VOLUME

Well I have not heard that before.

its complete rubish thats why, we use a 25lt di vessel on our static system and have always filled it to the top, never a problem

It's a common warning that resin "can" expand. However, I find the opposite, I fill my vessels 3/4 with resin but once filled with water & the resin has settled, the resin level is ALWAYS lower than the initial 3/4 level.

It's also common knowlage that purolite resin is pants! ;)
