cleaning jargon
« on: June 09, 2005, 04:10:52 pm »
Does any one else have thier own language they use when on site, ours started after I learned that when an optician says a number then tb eg, 175 tb he is referring to the number of millimetres from your lens "To Bend", from this I have learned  lots of jargon from different professions, my own includes "CI" --- customers dont realise that  i am referring to Cut It - on say hardened glue etc, "KT "--is keep trying on a stain    "GI" is give up... we have loads.... does anyone else have names for thier equipment or is it just me that has a  vacuum called "monica" --- its a big blower... etc etc
I clean carpets
I dry Buildings
