Credit Cards
« on: November 10, 2009, 10:34:43 am »
Have bit the bullett and signed up for a mobile card terminal for 12 months to see if it proves it self. Lot of people asked if we take cards, so decided to give it a try. First job yesterday paid by card  :) Will have to wait and see how popular it will be. Watch this space ;)

Hello neighbour, I will keep an eye out and see how you do. I was looking at using a terminal too and charging say £2.50 if the spend was below £50 or something like that, or even just adding it on in the quote ;). I'm waiting until I start doing this C/C and Oven Cleaning work full time, when my youngest starts school full time! I've been living the life of part time Mum in my first 18 months or so of business, I'm all Jeremy Kyled out ;D

I was just going to hide the costs in the quote, if you start adding things on then they get worried, so by adding a few quid onto every job hopefully it will cover the cost.

The thing is now Paul, you're in a position to ask if they want anything else cleaned while your're there. People usually find it harder to part with cash, but don't mind putting it on card... whether it be debit or credit card .... It's definately something I'll be doing in the future.... Good luck with it all mate!

I seen him in Truro and waved, but he didn't spot me ;D

There's another C/C around Helston "RJ Cleaning" and we always give eachother a wave, that's how it should be! Do you think Electricians and Plumbers waves at each other? Maybe we're just  all closet bus drivers ;D ;D ;D
