Well,
After posting on here about hose parts and poles,
Dave shaw ( A guy on this forum.)invited me to his house as he is fairly local, and after seeing my set up, he decided to help me simplify things .,
i had been working with water all over my right leg, and had posted for the best connections,
Dave had realised i was struggling,
So he set me up with a couple of his old poles , which looked like brand new... charged me very little for them,
then set about changing how i had things set up,
i had all the right gear, tank, pump, varistream, microbore and metal hose reel,
i just had my poles and reel connected up wrong,
now i have a light pole, good connections, and a brilliant tap on my pole...the one pictured by dave in my "best connections" topic...
Although i know how to wash a window really well, and have been wfp 3 years,
Dave showed me how it should be done, very quickly and well,
I realised i had bean messing around being too picky and spending too much time on the frames....and glass!!..
Until dave showed me that its clean already... and we are simply giving it maintanence, quickly but perfect.
So today off i went with my non-drip set up... and i soon copied how dave had shown me what he does..
and i have been amazed at how many more cleans i have done today,..and how much more money i earned.
It just goes to show, i wish i had gone out with someone on my very first day.
I would like to thank dave on here for being so helpful, and putting himself out, for someone he barely knows.
And helping a fellow window cleaner from the forum.
Well done dave.
There are still some good guys out there.
