Host/Envirodri
« on: October 23, 2009, 03:34:20 pm »
Anyone within a sensible distance of Kettering willing to hire me a host or envirodri machine for the day?

I have a sisal carpet to clean next Friday, I'm thinking about buying a CRB and wanted to test out the sawdust technique ;D

I don't think my Duo would make a very good job of it.

jimnealuk@gmail.com or post back here if you can help out, cheers ;)

Hi Jim

If its not a massive area you will find that a stiff nylon brush will do a better job than the machine. I don't even use my envirodri on traffic areas of sisal as its not great at getting into the grooves but good old fashhined elbow grease gets decent results.

Bit far unfotunately Joe, otherwise I'd be there like a shot :(

Interesting advice Pete, thanks.  It's only a set of stairs and a moderate sized landing, so I suppose I could use the duo to look good and then give it a good old scrub by hand up the stairs and onto the landing to get the worst bits.

Len, I'll get back to you ;D

If its the E30 for sale then do remember that it is 300mm wide ie 12"
The E40 and newer G4 are 400mm wide ie 16"
