ford transit T260 2.2TDCI swb 110ps

Folks, could somebody please tell me what size wfp system I could use with this van and does anybody have a similar van and how do they find it ,some help on this would be great ,

Thats similar to what im  looking at , the t260 are the lowest payload arent they , about 650 litres would be fine i reckon, you will rarely run out of tht alaone

try this guys

will put MK6 weights in brackets

80 (T260) payload is 800KG
100 (T280) payload is 1000kg
120 (T300) Payload is 1200kg
150 (T330) Payload is 1500kg
190 (T350) payload is 1900 kg (LWB only)
230 (T430) Payload is 2300kg (DRW and HGV)

Hi my brother in-law as got a t260 transit on a 03 reg and he has a 650Lt up right tank and its fine :D

He will be running overweight full with an additional staff, gear and diesel.
A 500litre tank in a Citroen Berlingo 800kg payload maxs out with full tank of diesel, kit and me as passenger.

i get where your coming from but the birlingo;s are very soft on the back end i know this because i have had the 600 payload and 800 if you went for the combo (new shape) 800 payload it carries the weight better so there for the transit would be even better. it would be close on the limit but we don;t carry that weight around all day do we.

Sure you are right - but overweight is overweight and you will still get fined no matter how your vehicle sits. Of course we have more chance of being noticed than a T260 would.

sorry Spruce you are right about the transit t260 i have just spoke to my brother in law and he tells me his tranny is the t280 not the one i thought it was the t260 sorry mate. the t260  would be to close to the limit.
