Advise on TM
« on: October 12, 2009, 12:59:19 pm »
Hi, I am in the process of looking for a good used TM at the moment and have come across a used steamway 9100LX. Does anybody know much about them and if it may be worth considering. Also what sort of money should I expect to pay for this. Its got about 1600hrs on the clock but has been well serviced.

Any feedback would be grately appreciated.

The steamway 9100lx is a great little machine that is a dual operator machine with a kawasaki liquid cooled engine, 1600 hours is nothing if it's been serviced well, one of my truckmounts is a steamway and it's a great machine and it's done about 3000 hours, you will be able to get parts from alltec as they used to be the dealers in this country. I'm not sure what the LX is worth now maybe a couple of grand?

I got £2,000 for my Steamway Side Kick with more hours on it, so I'd say its worth £3,000 to £4,000.
