Backpacks - anyone built one themselves?
« on: May 26, 2005, 09:07:21 pm »
I'm thinking about knocking up a backpack with 10-12 litres of water, a small battery and a 60psi pump. I don't want to re-invent the wheel so has anyone gone before me?

Also has anyone used a commecially available one and what do they think?

It's a game of three halves!

12 litres of water ,wouldnt bother wasting my time, you would always be filling it up.Time = money lost, now a trolley system 45 litres now thats a diff story, three houses min then fill it up

you could do 6/7 houses if your only doing the tops, easier on the back as well,

if you pm me i will give you the details Ive stored for making a trolley system, suppliers lists for diy,Ive worked it out build one for under 250 squid, but you would have to allready have to have your own d/i or r/o systems in place.
