My mobile rang last night and I never got to collect the call before it stopped. This may have been a good thing as the number is 007099809160. I have never seen a mobile number start with two 0, ie 007....

Is this a scam, anyone know, or have I just lost a client.

Isnt there a scam where your phone ring once. So you dont have time to answer it.

You then ring back and are charged at a premium rate?

Dave

PS Its to many numbers to be a mobile number.

Karl,

That definantly isn't an english mobile, they only start with one 0.

It could possibly have been a foreign number but they do tend to come up as a private number.

There are quite a few scams going around on mobiles as well as computers at the moment.

Have you tried ringing it back?

John

You hold a valid point. if he wants to find out what number it is, could try calling from a BT phonebox??

Depends if want to go to all that hassle of finding out though
