wiping down sills
« on: September 06, 2009, 10:39:30 pm »
just wondering how many of you wfp users wipe the ground floor sills after you have cleaned the windows. iv'e found you can save alot of water by wiping down the sills and bottom quarter of the frames rather than trying to wash every last bit of dirt and grit off

I turn the flow off then give the sill a final brush off otherwise the crap between the frame and sill keeps spilling out, I still cloth them off occasionally though ;)

always wipe downstairs sills with cloth and make sure they dry as some custys will go round after you as they like sills to be clean and dry

Yeah I wipe the downstairs sills with a cloth. As said above, it can save a fair bit of water - that's why I do it now. I also think custys like to see a nice clean window sill when they get back from work.

Its the little extras like wiping a sill over that could make the difference between a custy sticking with you or looking elsewhere
