A bit of Van seal advice please.
« on: September 06, 2009, 12:14:19 pm »
Hi ,

Just ripped the bottom ply from the van, ready to clean and paint,
i  have 2 holes near the seats, ..in the floor .

about the size of a 10p coin... one has a bung ..one has not,

where does the water go should i spring a leak?

should i find a way to bung the hole

or take the bung out of the other?

Thanks

gary.

I would leave the holes, just in case you had a overflow. Then the water has somewhere to drain out of the van .

i am having the van MOT'ed in 2 weeks time and when the tank it out, i will drill a few holes in it and then paint around them
