Price for 4 commercial buildings?
« on: July 05, 2005, 03:26:32 pm »
I have been asked to quote for a commercial job. This is my first move into commercial work. What would you suggest for a price?...

It's an international engineering company, 4 nearby buildings, total approximately 290 windows, 4,600 square feet of glass. It's OK for WFP--no higher than 1st floor. About 20 windows are in awkward locations.

(Two of us work from our van using two pumps.)

Thanks, folks  :)

Hi Gordon

How I would do it would be to work out how long it will take you(never under estimate your time),then work out what you both want per hour.when you have done that always add a little extra on.always remember first cleans (if they havent been done for a while) can take longer than normal. You could also contact customer and ask if they want an initial clean price then a monthly or bi monthly price.ive learnt from experience how long certain jobs will take but dont sell your self short or youll regret it.

Hi Gordon

Take a good look at the glass and see if what the company does has an impact on job you are quoting e.g. i regularly clean the insides of pubs initially the water runs brown with the nicotine on the panes.

Cheers Mark.
