Seems to be a faulty production run from January.

I have fitted 3 motors in the last month to my Ninja :o, the first motor in series, on each motor a disc in the fan housing has come loose and started rattling. The last motor was fitted with an additional new one as a maching pair to see if would cure problem. Again first motor failed only lasting 30 minuets. Ashcroft replacing foc no problem.
I am about to return the 3rd motor inc paired motor but am reluctant to fit again yet.
I have sent a message to Ametek USA to try and find what the problem is,
but no reply yet.
